Longtime CEO Bob Fisch is out at rue21 after 15 years.

Teen apparel retailer rue21 Inc. has made some changes to its leadership.

CEO Bob Fisch is out after 15 years at the helm, and chief financial officer Keith McDonough replaces him on an interim basis. Rue21 gave no reason for Fisch’s departure.

Rue21, No. 453 in the Internet Retailer 2016 Top 500 Guide, also brought in Elizabeth Hodges to be its first chief customer officer and Nina Barjesteh as its new chief merchandising officer, replacing Kim Reynolds.

Hodges is an apparel industry veteran who was most recently senior vice president of customer experience at Chico’s FAS Inc. (No. 85 in the Top 500). She has also worked at J.C. Penney Co. Inc. (No. 33), American Eagle (No. 63) and Lane Bryant.

Barjesteh spent nearly 20 years with Target Corp. (No. 22), most recently as vice president and general merchandise manager of women’s apparel. “I am excited to join rue21 and help position the company for future growth by developing the rue21 brand and expanding our omnichannel offering,” she said.

Rue21 grew its web sales to an Internet Retailer-estimated $35 million last year, up 150% from $14 million in 2014. The retailer recently opened its 1,200th store, Barjesteh says.
