The online marketplace promoted three executives to lead technology, product development and financial operations.

Online marketplace The Grommet continues to reshape its leadership team, promoting three executives this week, a little more than a month after adding two executives.

The Grommet, No. 439 in the Internet Retailer 2015 Top 500 Guide, promoted Derek Sanford to vice president of technology from his previous post as director; Alastair Brown to vice president of product development from her role as director of product management; and Jonathan Conelias to chief financial officer from his previous role as vice president of finance. Conelias also serves as vice president of operations.

All three have e-commerce experience, the company says. In February, The Grommet hired a chief marketing officer and a chief growth officer. The online marketplace  sells artisan-made food, home decor and other products featured in videos and narrative-like product descriptions.

Sanford’s expertise is in web development, mobile apps, network security and credit card processing.

Brown has helped increase Grommet’s website conversion and developed new customer acquisition channels. For seven years before joining The Grommet, Brown worked as director of marketing and senior product manager at online travel service TripAdvisor, where she oversaw a $100 million search engine marketing program.

Conelias was previously chief financial officer of iDevices LLC, which sells devices that let consumers control their home environment remotely.

Top500Guide.com data shows The Grommet has grown at an annual rate of 23.61% over the past five years, to an Internet Retailer-estimated $35 million in 2014 from $15 million in 2010. In June 2014, The Grommet launched a wholesale e-commerce site to bring more products from independent craftspeople into retail stores.
