The B2B Marketing and Strategy Conference will debut next month in Bogotá, Colombia, with speakers from companies including IBM and Google.

The B2B Marketing and Strategy Conference will debut next month as an annual event in Bogotá, Colombia, featuring speakers from such international businesses as IBM Corp., DuPont, Motorola Solutions and Petrobras.

The event will take place at Bogotá’s World Trade Center and provide full translation of content into the English language.
Also participating will be speakers from market research firm GFK Retail & Technology, executive search firm Spencer Stuart and the Chilean Chamber of Commerce. The conference expects to have 200 attendees and about 20 companies exhibiting their B2B web portals, says Juan Felipe Vega, chief event organizer for V2V Meeting Professional Partners, which is hosting the conference.

“The conference will focus on current trends and best practices in order for participants to build a successful 2015 B2B marketing plan,” says a spokesman for the Business Marketing Association, which is helping to generate session content for the event and to publicize it.

Al Maag, executive director of the BMA, says the BMA is considering establishing a local chapter in Bogotá to get involved with ongoing regional educational and networking events to promote B2B marketing strategies. The BMA already conducts regional events throughout the United States, including one scheduled in Milwaukee on Oct. 8, and another in Chicago in May 2015.

More information on attendance fees and conference sessions is available at the Bogotá event’s web site, B2BCongreso.com.
