Using Borderfree’s e-commerce platform, Chico’s will be available to two billion shoppers in more than 100 countries and in more than 60 global currencies.

Chico’s FAS Inc., a women’s apparel retailer, announced today it will use e-commerce technology from Borderfree to go global. The brand is now available to two billion shoppers in more than 100 countries and in more than 60 global currencies.

In addition to the Chico’s brand, Chico’s FAS, No. 82 In the 2014 Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, also owns and operates White House Black Market, Soma and Boston Proper.

According to Top500Guide.com, Chico’s FAS previously shipped internationally to such countries as Australia, France, India and Peru. The Borderfree platform allows Chico’s FAS to expand to additional countries and offer merchandise in the country’s local currency.

Chico’s FAS operates 1,525 stores in the United States and Canada and sold in 2013 an Internet Retailer-estimated $435 million on its web properties.
