  • In 2023, 71.0% of retailers in the Top 1000 with at least two years of data available offered free shipping, down from 77.1% in 2022
  • Consumer Electronics and Automotive Parts & Accessories were the only two merchandise categories in the Top 1000 where the share of retailers offering free shipping rose in 2023 from 2022 levels
  • Two merchandise categories, Sporting Goods and Office Supplies, saw their shares of retailers offering free shipping drop by double-digit percentage points year over year
