In March 2016, multichannel retailer Jewelry Television claimed the top spot in web analytics company SimilarWeb’s monthly ranking of U.S. e-retailers with the longest visitor time on site through desktop visits, for desktop traffic engagement, mobile visits and apps. JTV.com increased its average visit duration to 14 minutes, 4 seconds in March from 12 minutes, 37 seconds in February. “The site uses innovative methods of keeping users online to discover new content,” said a SimilarWeb spokesman. “Its video content includes an option to watch live broadcasting of showcased jewelry items, one of the most popular pages on the website, alongside weekly episodes of jewelry-making school.”
