Health-E Commerce, the company behind FSA Store and HSA Store, has appointed Zack Peckham as its new CEO, marking a leadership transition as the company broadens its offerings in the fast-growing healthcare ecommerce space.

Zack Peckham, CEO, Health-E Commerce
The announcement comes alongside a new partnership with Sesame, a telehealth marketplace, to expand virtual mental health and dermatology services for users of pre-tax healthcare accounts.
Peckham joined the company in 2017 and most recently served as chief financial officer. He succeeds Preston Farrington, who is retiring. Under Farrington’s leadership, Health-E Commerce expanded its reach among the more than 70 million Americans enrolled in Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs). It offered guaranteed-eligible health care products and services through its specialized online platforms.
New Health-E Commerce CEO and collaboration
The leadership handoff coincides with the launch of a new collaboration with Sesame.
Sesame is a direct-to-consumer platform that connects patients with licensed health care providers at significantly reduced costs. The partnership will integrate Sesame’s virtual care offerings into the FSA Store and HSA Store. It would provide affordable access to mental health and dermatology services — areas where provider shortages and long wait times remain persistent challenges.
Through partnerships, consumers can use FSA and HSA funds to access dermatology care, starting at $59 per month. Examples include treatment plans and prescriptions for conditions such as acne and eczema. Mental health services begin at $79 per month. They include ongoing messaging and virtual sessions with licensed providers. Most services are eligible for tax-free reimbursement, with no need for insurance or prior authorizations.
The move strengthens Health-E Commerce’s position in the telehealth space. It also reflects a broader push to make compliant, cost-effective care more accessible. As health care costs continue to rise, consumers are increasingly looking for digital solutions that align with their benefits. By integrating Sesame’s marketplace model, which promotes price transparency and provider competition, Health-E Commerce aims to offer more value to account holders managing their health budgets, the company says.
Peckham’s appointment signals a continuation of the company’s mission to simplify and expand how consumers use FSAs and HSAs. With a background in strategy and finance, he is expected to focus on deepening partnerships, enhancing the user experience, and growing the company’s footprint in eligible telehealth and product categories.
