Bluefly Inc. has a new chief financial officer.
The online apparel retailer, No. 131in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, has promoted Kara Jenny to chief financial officer from vice president of finance.
As Bluefly’s top financial executive, she replaces long-time finance manager Patrick Barry who is leaving the company. Jenny, who will report directly to Bluefly president and chief operating officer Barry Erdos, joined Bluefly in 1999 from Arthur Andersen LLP.
Bluefly will pay Jenny an annual base salary of $250,000, a discretionary performance bonus and stock options, the company says in a regulatory filing.
