About the CEO change at Saddle Creek Logistics

Martin succeeds Mark Cabrera, who is retiring after serving as CEO of Saddle Creek Logistics since 2015.

That’s also the year Martin began at the company. Martin became COO in July 2024.

Saddle Creek Logistics said Martin’s decades of supply chain leadership experience have “played a key role in shaping” the company’s growth and operational strategy. It added that he has helped to develop the company’s “roadmap for innovation and implementation.” Saddle Creek Logistics credited Martin with enhancing operational capabilities and helping clients to navigate customer demands.

“Grady is a proven leader with a deep understanding of our business, our customers, and our people,” Cabrera said in the announcement. “He has been a driving force behind our operational excellence and culture, and I have great confidence in his ability to lead Saddle Creek into its next chapter.”

Cabrera started at Saddle Creek Logistics in 2001. He has served in three C-suite roles at the company since then:

The company said that under Cabrera’s leadership, it “experienced significant growth, expanded its national footprint, and invested in solutions to support omnichannel fulfillment and scalable logistics operations.”
