Cloudfy has launched Cloudfy Enterprise v5, a new version of its ecommerce platform that it designed to support complex B2B selling models and deeper integration with enterprise systems.
The company said the new platform introduces a modular, application programming interface (API)-first architecture. It allows customers to deploy and customize ecommerce capabilities without replacing existing enterprise resource planning systems, according to Cloudfy. The company said it intends for the design to support large catalogs, customer-specific pricing, and multi-account buying workflows common in industrial and wholesale commerce.
Cloudfy is a provider of B2B ecommerce software for manufacturers and distributors.
About the Cloudfy Enterprise v5 platform update
Enterprise v5 also expands Cloudfy’s integration framework. It enables connections with back-office systems such as ERP platforms, customer relationship management software and third-party front-end experiences, according to the company.
“Enterprise v5 reflects the growing need for flexibility and scalability in B2B digital commerce,” Cloudfy CEO Robert Williams said in a statement.
Cloudfy said it built the platform to support future artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled capabilities. That includes tools for product discovery, reordering and workflow automation. However, the company did not disclose specific release timelines for those features.
The launch comes as manufacturers and distributors continue to invest in digital sales platforms. They seek to meet rising customer expectations for self-service ordering, real-time pricing and tighter integration between ecommerce and core business systems.
Cloudfy operates in the United States and internationally. It said it has made Enterprise v5 available immediately to new customers and as an upgrade for existing clients.
Cloudfy said customers serving the U.S. market are already using its platform. That includes Hexis, which has deployed Cloudfy’s B2B ecommerce software to support online ordering for customers in the United States, according to a published case study.
