Mirakl builds new marketplace technology for B2B companies

B2B companies have a new way to get online in front of lots of customers.

Marketplace software provider Mirakl launched on Dec. 1 Mirakl Marketplace B2B, a technology system designed to help distributors and manufacturers deploy their own online marketplaces, CEO and founder Adrien Nussenbaum says.

Companies that have deployed Mirakl Marketplace B2B include Auchan Pro, a seller of merchandise that includes gourmet food gift boxes, toys and eyeglasses; Retif, a provider of decorative and custom supplies to retailers; and Groupe Le Duff, a distributor of restaurant supplies.

Paris-based Mirakl’s new B2B e-marketplace software includes such features as:

Nussenbaum declines to comment on the cost of Mirakl Marketplace B2B technology. But he says the company charges a commission based on a percentage of the value of a seller’s transactions.

Mirakl also offers marketplace technology that retailers like Best Buy Co. Inc. used to sell to consumers. Founded in 2012, Mirakl has received more than 22 million euros (US23.8 million) in funding from venture capital firms Felix Capital, 83North and Elaia Partners.
