Megan is the Vice President and General Manager, eCommerce and Marketplaces at Avalara. In her role, she leads the business development team for Avalara’s global eCommerce and online marketplace business. Megan has deep experience in leading teams, developing and executing on strategic initiatives, and driving growth enterprises for technology companies.
Prior to her role at Avalara, Megan was Senior Vice President, Client and Partner Success, North America, at Pitney Bowes where she led a team responsible for managing more than 700 partners and clients. She spent more than 15 years at Pitney Bowes holding various leadership positions for product management, business development, and marketing.
Megan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management Information Systems from the University of Connecticut.
Craig Reed, SVP of Global Trade, Avalara
Craig Reed leads the development and growth of Avalara’s cross-border and global trade business as Senior Vice President of Global Trade. Craig came to Avalara through the acquisition of his company, TradeStream Technologies, which was a company focused on building next generation automated product classification and landed cost software systems for cross-border Ecommerce. Prior to forming TradeStream, Craig was SVP, Global Ecommerce at Pitney Bowes, Inc. where he created the Global Ecommerce business unit and led it from inception to over $220M in revenue. He has deep experience with developing technologies that power global ecommerce and creating global parcel distribution networks.
Stephanie Crets, Digital Editor, Digital Commerce 360
Stephanie Crets is the Digital Editor at Digital Commerce 360, where she edits and writes daily web news and long-form, in-depth retailer profiles for the web and magazine. She also contributes editing and writing to Digital Commerce 360’s research reports. She holds an M.A. in writing and publishing from DePaul University and a B.A. in journalism from the University of Iowa.
