- FedEx Ground (commercial service)
- FedEx Home Delivery (residential service)
- FedEx SmartPost (low-weight residential parcel consolidator service)
FedEx SmartPost in March expanded its service for U.S. shippers into Canada by using the residential delivery capabilities of the Canada Postal Corp. In the U.S., FedEx SmartPost, a wholly owned subsidiary of FedEx Ground, specializes in the delivery of low-weight, less time-sensitive business-to-consumer package, using the U.S. Postal Service for the final-mile to residences. FedEx SmartPost International now has a similar relationship with Canada Post. FedEx expanded SmartPost into Canada at the request of U.S. catalogers, online retailers and other companies that ship low-weight packages that also wanted the added benefit of a comprehensive customs clearance solution, says Ward B. Strand, president.
