Nearly 62% of retailers say they are increasing their digital marketing budget in 2021. That’s according to Digital Commerce 360’s new, seventh-annual digital marketing survey.

Marketing is a critical piece to any business, as online retailers need to both acquire and retain customers for a successful business. A third of merchants say they dedicate 51% or more of their digital marketing budget to customer acquisition and 48.3% of merchants say social media is one of the most effective channels for acquiring new customers.
