Hardware and home improvement ecommerce sales reach $59.59 billion

Total sales for the category increased XX.X% compared to XX.X% for online sales growth in 2021, as shoppers continue to use online channels for their home improvement needs. Hardware retailers were among the biggest pandemic winners and have reinvested their profits into their ecommerce operations.

The median conversion rate among hardware/home improvement retailers in the Top 1000 was XX.X%, with a median $93 average ticket. The median hardware retailer got XXX,XXX monthly unique visitors. XX.X% of visitors were in the 33–44 year old range, while just XX.X% were above 65. For the rest, XX.X% were 25–34, v% were 45–54, XX.X% were 55–64 and XX.X% were 18–24 years old.
