Multichannel kitchen supply retailer Sur La Table Inc. has brought in an apparel industry veteran as its new CEO.

Sur La Table, No. 245 in the Internet Retailer 2017 Top 500, last week announced that Billy May has replaced Diane Neal, who has retired. May was most recently senior vice president of marketing, direct-to-consumer, omnichannel and corporate development at apparel brand Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (No. 61), according to his LinkedIn profile. He also has held executive e-commerce positions with adidas AG (No. 52), Sears Holdings Corp. (No. 19) and Lowe’s Cos. Inc. (No. 25).

“We are excited to work with Billy going forward and believe his extensive experience across the digital landscape—marketing, e-commerce, and omnichannel—aligns well with Sur La Table’s strategic priorities,” Sur La Table board member Kevin Nickelberry said.

Sur La Table generated an Internet Retailer-estimated $118.2 million in online sales last year, up 25% from $94.6 million in 2015.
