Pipe17 also appointed former commercetools manager Kelly Goetsch as its first chief operating officer

Pipe17 has received a $15.5 million funding round led by LFX Venture Partners, with participation from GLP and other investors.

Pipe17 is a provider of AI-powered order operations applications and services. The company also appointed Kelly Goetsch as its first chief operating officer. Goetsch joins Pipe17 from commercetools, where he helped scale the company to over $100 million in ARR. Goetsch also co-founded and ran the MACH Alliance, an industry consortium of 100+ vendors advocating for composable MACH (Microservices, APIs, Cloud, and Headless) technologies.

New funding round for Pipe17

Pipe17’s platform addresses the growing complexity of omnichannel commerce, enabling businesses to synchronize order, pricing, and inventory data across multiple systems, including enterprise resource planning (ERPs), third-party logistics companies (3PLs), and commerce platforms. Pipe17 features AI-driven tools, including the “Pippen” order operations agent, which automates tasks like order routing and exception handling.

In the past 18 months, the company has said it has doubled average revenue per deal and tripled the average deal size, for companies like Allbirds and MaryRuth Organics and logistics providers such as UPS and FedEx.

“The funding and Kelly’s hire position us to expand our capabilities and help businesses navigate today’s fragmented commerce landscape,” said Mo Afshar, CEO and co-founder of Pipe17.
