For consumers, Opal offers an online process to order Bausch + Lomb contact lenses, with plans to expand its offerings to include over-the-counter Bausch + Lomb products in the coming months.

“Opal is an all-in-one digital platform that streamlines the ordering process for Bausch + Lomb products, saving staff time, enhancing patient loyalty, and reducing administrative burdens for eye care practices,” says Yang Yang, president of Global Vision Care at Bausch + Lomb. “This platform demonstrates our ongoing commitment to meeting the evolving needs of both eye care professionals and their patients.”

The Opal platform provides features such as order tracking, order history, appointment reminders, and automated prescription reminders. All purchases through Opal come with free shipping, either directly to patients’ homes or to eye care practices, and each purchase earns loyalty points in the Bausch + Lomb rewards program.

Bausch + Lomb manufactures over 400 products, including contact lenses, lens care products, eye care solutions, ophthalmic pharmaceuticals, and surgical devices. In 2024, the company reported sales of $4.14 billion.
