Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America's website lets distributors order tires from warehouses or place a shipping container order online directly at a manufacturing facility and track shopping and delivery in real time.

A United States subsidiary of Yokohama Rubber is overhauling its B2B ecommerce platform. One of the world’s biggest tire manufacturers, Yokohama has annual sales of about $1.7 billion.

Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America Inc., which produces all-terrain tires for off-the-road (OTR) machinery of agriculture, forestry, construction, mining, and related industries, has launched an updated B2B ecommerce site with features that include:

  • Real-time product availability by warehouse
  • Searchable catalog by product name, SKU number or size
  • Quick-order features that speed the reordering process
  • Order status and tracking.

The new Yokohama ecommerce site also lets distributors order tires from warehouses or place a shipping container order online directly at a manufacturing facility and track shopping and delivery in real time. Yokohama’s ecommerce site is also accessible via mobile app.

“The new ecommerce portal is another way we are supporting our customers,” says Bruce Besancon, vice president of marketing. “Our customers are running their businesses at all hours. They’re out in the field, they’re on-site with their customers, and when they need information, they need it instantly. We’ve created a system that helps them manage their inventory and serve their customers.”

Yokohama Rubber in 2021 rebranded Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America, which operates two distribution centers in Columbus, Ohio, and Auburn, Georgia. It manufactures nearly 4,000 tire SKUs, the company says.
