Top 1000 data shows mobile traffic is still on the rise

Consumers are increasingly comfortable shopping and buying on their mobile devices, as shown by data from the 2022 Top 1000. The median percentage of visits to Top 1000 sites from mobile devices was 65.4% in 2021, up from 62.2% a year earlier, according to a Digital Commerce 360 analysis of traffic data from Similarweb. Consumer brand manufacturers made the biggest gains in mobile traffic, but retail chains get the most traffic from mobile. That’s likely because shoppers on the go use their phones to check store hours and location.
