Judging by its fiscal third quarter, MSC Industrial Direct Co. Inc. is getting back in a big way to its strong performance in B2B e-commerce.
Ecommerce sales at the distributor of metalworking and other industrial products increased to $521.8 million for the third quarter ended May 29, up 13.9% from the prior quarter and 13.1% from a year earlier. By comparison, third-quarter total sales increased by 3.8% to $866.3 million.
