International Paper Co. is the first print and copy paper manufacturer to join the Amazon Dash Button program and has done so via Hammervill, its most popular brand of paper in the United States.

With the Amazon Dash Button for Hammermill, users can place the Dash Button next to their printer and reorder when the paper is low. The Dash Button can be linked to a specific Hammermill item and changed through Amazon’s mobile app to allow users to order a variety of Hammermill products.

Including the brands that have recently joined, there are now over 150 in the Dash Button program.

Amazon said that Dash Button orders have grown by 70% in the past three months, with order frequency doubling and Dash Button orders now occurring over twice a minute. For some items, more than half of Amazon orders are now made via Dash Buttons, it was revealed.

Dash Buttons are available to Amazon’s Prime members. Amazon offers its Prime membership program—which provides free two-day shipping on all orders, plus other benefits, for an annual fee of $99—to business customers as well as to consumers. A button initially cost $4.99, but this amount is refunded in the form of a credit when the first order with the button is made.
