The women’s plus-size fashion brand will use the funding to hire more staff for its New York office.

Eloquii, a fast-growing, plus-size women’s fashion apparel manufacturer and online-only retailer, has raised a $15 million Series B funding round with designs on accelerating its growth.

New York-based Eloquii’s latest round of funding was led by investment firm Acton Capital Partners, which also participated in a $13 million round for custom menswear retailer Indochino (No. 454 in the  Internet Retailer 2016 Top 500 Guide) in March 2013. With this latest round, Eloquii has raised $21 million over capital raises since launching in 2014 according to CrunchBase.

Eloquii CEO Mariah Chase says the company’s sales increased by 165% in 2015, though she declined to specify a sales figure. With this latest round, Eloquii plans to hire more employees in its New York office. An Eloquii spokeswoman says those new employees will have a specific focus on marketing and technology infrastructure.

“We are excited to expand our group of world-class investors as we enter our next stage of growth and seek to reach our goal of being the dominant fast fashion plus-size brand in the global market,” Chase said. The e-retailer sells women’s clothing in sizes 14-24 and currently ships orders to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.

Also participating in Eloquii’s latest funding round were investment firm Blue Sky Venture Capital, which lead a $15.5 million Series B round for custom footwear manufacturer Shoes of Prey in December, and Wildcat Capital Management.
