A predictive analytics platform has bolstered its online pricing capabilities.

Revionics acquired pricing software company Marketyze for an undisclosed price. Revionics boasts that more than 40,000 websites use its tools, which include give its clients a wealth of information about their shoppers so that they are able to improve promotions and pricing among other areas.

Four-year-old Marketyze allows its customers to see how competitors are pricing certain products while giving them insight into conversion rates and other data.

“Our combined value proposition is exciting, and the Marketyze team is thrilled to be a part of Revionics to strengthen and expand our joint global footprint, product offerings, and R&D depth,” Marketyze CEO Onn Manelson said. “This combination empowers retailers to adopt a more holistic strategy across all their channels to execute a more seamless pricing, promotion and assortment strategy that will yield stronger profits, customer loyalty and competitive advantage.”

Revionics counts major online retailers such as Dick’s Sporting Goods (No. 70 in the Internet Retailer 2015 Top 500 Guide), eBags Inc. (No. 174) and VitaminShoppe.com (No. 214).
