Just in time for moms in Manhattan? Amazon adds 1-hour flower delivery to Prime Now in New York.

Amazon.com Inc. has added fresh flower bouquets to the list of products it can deliver to Prime members in less than an hour in New York.

Prime members in select ZIP codes in New York and Brooklyn using the Prime Now mobile app can select from four bouquets—named after the Seattle neighborhoods of Ravenna, Fremont, Ballard and Queen Anne—and have their selections delivered in an hour or less for a $7.99 delivery fee, or for no fee if delivery can wait two hours. Amazon.com LLC, a subsidiary of Amazon.com Inc., is the seller of record of the flowers.

Prime Now orders can only be placed via Amazon’s Prime Now mobile app, which is available for Apple, Android and Amazon devices.

Fresh flower delivery is not available at this time in other areas with Prime Now service. In addition to New York, Prime Now, which offers an array of food and everyday products as well as gift items, is available in select ZIP codes in Baltimore, Miami, Atlanta, Dallas and Austin, Texas.
