Blue Line Protection says it will launch an e-marketplace next month for buying and selling marijuana within states where it’s legal.

Blue Line Protection Group Inc. says it plans to launch next month an e-marketplace that will cater to companies involved in the legal buying and selling of cannabis, or marijuana.

The e-commerce site, which the company has yet to name publicly, will restrict buying and selling between business located within the same state among the 21 states that have laws legalizing some form of marijuana sales. As of now, only Colorado and Washington have laws allowing the sale of marijuana for recreational use; the others have legalized marijuana only for medical use.

Blue Line said it will take steps to validate the licenses of marijuana sellers and also offer delivery services for online orders. The company, which is staffed by security professionals with experience in law enforcement and the U.S. military, also provides services for protecting high-value assets, including the transport of cannabis, it says.

“Our online marketplace will save legal marijuana businesses both time and money by providing instant online access to purchase from, and sell legal marijuana products to, other dispensaries in their state,” CEO Sean Campbell says.
