Chris Saridakis was CEO of GSI Commerce when eBay bought it in 2011.

Chris Saridakis is out as president of eBay Enterprise, the e-commerce technology and services provider that used to be GSI Commerce Inc. EBay Inc. said this afternoon that Saridakis resigned for personal reasons.

Tobias Hartmann, vice president, Omnichannel Operations and International, will run eBay Enterprise until the company finds a new president.  EBay offered no further details today.

24 retailers in the Internet Retailer 2013 Top 500 Guide and six in the Second 500 Guide report that their e-commerce platform vendor is eBay Enterprise. 

Saridakis was CEO of GSI Commerce when eBay bought it in 2011 for $2.4 billion. EBay renamed the company in June.

Last month, eBay brought into eBay Enterprises e-commerce software provider Magento, which eBay also bought in 2011. Seventeen retailers in the Top 500 and 48 in the Second 500 say they use Magento.
