Brooks Brothers also promotes two other top managers and names a new CIO.

Upscale clothing manufacturer and retailer Brooks Brothers Inc. is adding to the ranks of senior management. In addition to a new top marketing executive, Brooks Brothers also named new senior executives for administration, operations and technology.

Brooks Brothers, No. 163 in the 2013 Internet Retailer Top 500, has appointed Vivien Kronengold as an executive vice president and the company’s top marketing executive. She will report to CEO Claudio Del Vecchio and oversee marketing communications, branding and advertising, public relations, social media, events and visual merchandising.

Prior to joining Brooks Brothers, Kronengold served as chief marketing officer at C Wonder, a chain of retail stores selling women’s clothing, accessories and home décor items based in New York. Kronengold also has worked as a senior marketing executive at Tommy Hilfiger Corp. and Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. (No. 62) and in advertising at BBDO New York.

In conjunction with hiring Kronengold, Brooks Brothers also announced two other promotions and the hiring of a new chief information officer.  The company promoted Mauro Calderan to chief operating  officer from senior vice president, distribution and logistics. He will be in charge of global supply chain operations, including sourcing and production, logistics and distribution and global inventory management.

Matteo Del Vecchio, formally vice president of strategy and business development, has been promoted to chief administrative officer overseeing all finance, legal, human resources, information technology, and corporate development and analytics. Brooks Brothers also hired Sahal Laher as chief information officer, a position he also held at Stride Rite Corp.
