The multichannel retailer also promoted its executive vice president to J. Crew Brand president.

J. Crew Group Inc. has promoted chief administration officer James Scully to chief operating officer. It also named executive vice president Libby Wadle president of the J. Crew Brand.

The retailer will increase both Scully and Wadle’s salaries from $700,000 to $750,000, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Both executives may also receive bonuses based on the retailer’s performance, the filing says.

J. Crew is No. 56 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.

Scully had been the retailer’s chief administration officer since 2008 and its chief financial officer from 2005 until 2012, the retailer says. Prior to joining J. Crew, he held multiple positions at Saks Inc. from 1999 to 2005, including executive vice president of human resources and strategic planning, and senior vice president of strategic and financial planning.

Wadle had been the retailer’s executive vice president since September 2011, J. Crew says. She joined the retailer in 2004 and held a number of roles including executive vice president, retail and factory. Prior to J. Crew, from 2003 to 2004, she was Coach Inc.’s division vice president of women’s merchandising. She also wore a number of merchandising hats while working at the Gap Inc. from 1995 to 2003, the retailer says.
