From exclusive deals to free pedicures, the marketplace is promoting m-commerce.

Americans on average expect to finish Thanksgiving dinner at 5:23 p.m. Eastern time, according to a survey by research and consulting firm Edelman Berland. And, drawing on that survey result, that’s precisely when eBay Inc. will begin unveiling hundreds of mobile-exclusive deals, deals that will continue throughout the weekend.

“Mobile is a game changer for holiday shopping,” says Steve Yankovich, vice president of mobile at eBay. “Consumers expect to shop on their own terms, and tablets and smartphones make every moment instantly shoppable. With eBay mobile, it’s easier than ever to get great deals on holiday gifts—anytime, anywhere.”

EBay also has some special features ready for mobile holiday shoppers. For those in need of gift inspiration, eBay has introduced a shoppable gift guide that is available exclusively for eBay iPhone app users. Beginning today, 25 “tastemakers”—from photographers to tech experts to stylists—will reveal their wish lists and gift lists for the holidays. Gift ideas will be updated weekly throughout the season.

On Black Friday, the busy shopping day after Thanksgiving, eBay takes over the bliss spas chain to offer mobile shoppers some comfort. In busy metropolitan areas including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami and San Francisco, eBay shoppers can relax and enjoy free manicures, pedicures and foot massages as they browse and buy gifts from their tablet or smartphone.

For its fashion mobile app and e-commerce site, the marketplace collaborated with seven designers on the eBay Holiday Collective, limited-edition gifts spanning men’s and women’s apparel, jewelry, travel, electronics accessories, and home décor. Designers Billy Reid, Chris Benz, Fallon, Jonathan Adler, Ruffian, Steven Alan and Tibi created more than 40 items priced at under $100.
