HootSuite will continue to support Seesmic for the time being, but says it plans to transition the vendor’s customers to its services. “Consumer users of Seesmic encouraged to explore new tools, apps and features,” HootSuite wrote.

HootSuite has three tiers of service that range from a limited, free offering, a $9.99 per month professional service and a more robust enterprise service. The vendor does not disclose the price for its enterprise service.

“We’re excited for our users,” says Seesmic CEO Loic Le Meur. “They are becoming part of the HootSuite family, and they will be able to continue to build their brand and social business.”
