QVC led Internet Explorer tests while Dell and Sears tied atop Firefox tests.

QVC.com finished first among large retailers Internet Explorer availability tests in April, says Compuware Gomez. Last month, the retailer posted an availability score of 99.99% for Internet Explorer.

Dell.com and Staples.com each posted a 99.98% availability score in April’s Internet Explorer availability testing, followed by Sears.com (99.97%) and Amazon.com (99.96%).

Dell.com and Sears.com tied for the best Firefox browser tests with a score of 99.98% availability. QVC.com was next (99.96%), followed by Amazon.com and Toysrus.com (tied with 99.95%).

The average Internet Explorer availability for the 21 retailers measured in April was 99.87%, according to the Compuware Gomez Benchmarks study. The average Firefox availability for the same group of retailers was 99.69%.
