Philip Cotty takes over for Martin Anderson.

Alexander Interactive, an e-commerce design and marketing services firm, has hired Philip Cotty as technology director. He replaces Martin Anderson, who left the agency for personal reasons.

Cotty comes from Huge, where he worked as technology director for the interactive marketing and design agency.  While there, he worked on projects involving such clients as Pepsi, A&E Television, iVillage, Rubbermaid, Pizza Hut, Samsung and Four Seasons, according to Alexander Interactive.

Cotty also worked as chief technology officer for at The Noo Group, lead developer at FiLife and principal developer at MetaFoundry. He also was a software developer and programmer at Money-Media and Redscope LLC.

“Phil is especially qualified to lead the tech group at Ai,” says Alex Schmelkin, co-founder and president of Alexander Interactive. “He brings significant technical and web architectural experience to Ai, along with outstanding software design and team leadership skills that will enhance Ai’s capabilities to further build and deliver mission critical client applications.”
